Climate change awareness event in St George's Square - 14th July

Wake up to Climate Change, an event in St George's Square, Luton, will take place this Saturday, 14th July 2007, from midday until 4pm.
Among the wide range of stalls and activities will be information on renewable energy, energy efficiency grants and discounts, recycling and sustainability.
During my last year as a member of Luton Council, I was pleased to have a leading role on climate change issues. This weekend's event was originally the idea of my Lib Dem colleague Cllr Andy Strange. Its good that the new administration is supporting it.
