Plans for homes "East of Luton"

House builder Bloor Homes is asking for opinions about the possibilities for development on a large site to the east of Luton. Bloor Homes are suggesting that the area could accommodate between 3000 and 4000 new homes.
The site adjoins Luton but is in North Hertfordshire. It is bordered by the A505 to the north and by Luton's Wigmore district to the south west. The area includes the existing settlements of Mangrove Green and Cockernhoe and the Putteridge Bury estate.
Bloor Homes is involved in other developments in the Luton and Dunstable area, notably the former Trico site in Dunstable and the rather smaller development called Cassell Heights in Stopsley.
